Marc, an addition to Streetwize
Streetwize official website ( http://www.myspace.com/streetwizeofficial ) has announced joining of Marc to the band. He is 20 years old and is from London England.
The page also features a sample of a cover version of the song "End of the Road", hardly appropriate for a band who is at the beginning of it's road to success.

New Streetwize International Blog
and MySpace Group
In an effort to increase the visibility of Streetwize, I have established a personal blog site with Blogspot network that provides the widest and most user-friendly and reader-friendly area for blogs. The personal blog is at:

Of course we will continue to reflect the news on our news page here. But in the blog area, I may be able to discuss more personal observations that may not be strictly news. It will also give me the freedom to tackle other subjects that may not be strictly related to the band.
In addition I have established a MySpace Group for Streetwize International Fans. I noticed that there were tens of sites on MySpace, yet not even one active MySpace Group area. The earlier Streetwize Rule MySpace group proved to be inactive despite a good membership record. The new Streetwize International MySpace area will strive to be more active. You can find it at:

Contrary to the blog which will be my personal points of view, the MySpace can become a truly great meeting place for active discussions and suggestions.

Jonathan Fagerlund: "Angeline" single and an official website
both on August 8
Jonathan Fagerlund, the former Swedish member of Streetwize, now a solo artist in his homeland Sweden will be releasing his single on August 8 through Dreamline Music. Already the Swedish stations are playing the song on their playlists. The single will be available also at iTunes for purchases and downloading.
To coincide with the release of the single, he is also launching an official website now in construction. It will be bilingual both in English and Swedish at:

Jonathan also released a video greeting his fans and talking about his near plans including a live concert on August 11 at Sandhamn in Stockholm

The American Popstar! magazine has published a photo of Streetwize in its August 2007 issue that is just on the newsstands now. It was taken when Streetwize members were attending a concert by teen pop star Monet Monico in Orlando, Florida.

A debut album in preparation and tours planned in Germany and Japan..
Streetwize billed to appear in 'Voices of Hope'
On a bilingual English / Spanish video released on the Streetwize Official MySpace pages and made by Streetwize Venezuelan member Antonio Jones, he informs fans that the band, back from the States to Ireland now, is writing and recording new songs for a debut album. The video was added on You Tube Streetwize5 on July 7, 2007.
Streetwize will also be performing in a majour charity event called "Voices of Hope". This event will feature many artists including Art Garfunkel (of Simon and Garfunkel fame).
The news was also confirmed by another video announcement made by Lee Mulhern who says they are working on new materials for the forthcoming album. He adds that the concert event will be in August 2007.
There are also plans set for a tour that will include amongst others, gigs in Germany and Japan.

The former member of Streetwize, Allan Cutler (from Los Angeles, California) has announced the launching of a single "My Lovin". This was announced on the official site of Allan on MySpace:

This follows just two weeks after yet another former Streetwize member the Swedish Jonathan Fagerlund put out a single "Angeline" amidst encouraging reception and following on Swedish radio stations, including SR P3 http://www.sr.se/P3/ . Lee Mulhern Featured in the Media
"Indie Artist" on Fire House Radio...
and HotCountryMusic Online in an exclusive feature interview
It has been a great month for Streetwize member Lee Mulhern as increasingly the media focuses on his materials and features him in their playlists and thus earning him more exposure and following this way.
For example Lee Mulhern was chosen as a featured "Indie Artist" in a prominent online radio
station called Fire House Radio (WFHR) at http://www.fhrradio.com/ . The Lee Mulhern "Indie Artist" feature can be found on the station's Indie Artist Page . Fire Huuse Radio is a very popular station that thrives on picking consistently some of the most promising new talents instead of churning out well-known artists endlessly as many other radios do.
Another outlet that is featuring Lee Mulhern next month is HotCountryMusic Online Magazine.
This magazine has been running by Vera for 7 years now. Vera is also owner and president of
Cavet-Vanderpool Publishing/BMI and Rosebud Records both based in Nashville, Tennessee as well as the online magazine where she has featured hundreds of artists. HotCountryMusic
will run an exclusive interview and some music by Lee Mulhern on the magazine website.
Although concentrating obviously on country music acts, it also has a section called "Hot and Not Country" where Vera picks some of the great promising talents who are not strictly country. And that's where Lee Mulhern comes in. The interview feature will be in July 2007. We will try to bring you a resume of the interview as soon as it's on the site.
NB: The connections of Lee Mulhern and country music is not that strange or remote though. From his early beginning,
as a child singer prodigy, Lee Mulhern had a string of popular country interpretations on Irish radio and television. At nine years old he made his first television debut having won the 'Children at Heart' talent contest and went on
to sing live on the BBC with country star and television personality Hugo Duncan for the 'Children in Need' appeal.
Lee also released his first amateur cassette album entitled 'Hey Good Looking' a selection of pop, country and ballads.
On the Official Lee Mulhern Fan Page you can find a couple of his country songs repertoire, including a rendition of
'The River' made famous by Garth Brooks and a country version of "When You Say Nothing At All" (from Ronan Keating also famous for the country cover by Alison Krauss and the Union Station". The page also covers Lee Mulhern's rendition of Fields of Gold . This is when Lee joined RTE's Gerry Ryan ( http://www.rte.ie/2fm/ryanshow/ ) at Ground Zero when he sang 'Fields of Gold' at a special wreath laying ceremony in rememberance of the victims of the September 11th attacks on New York. a song he sang in 2002 where Lee had joined Ronan Tynon of the 'Irish Tenors' and a host of other artists at the famous Javits Convention Centre for a concert to commemorate the victims of he September 11 attacks. Just to create extra attention to the appeal of Lee Mulhern, I have added some notes on Country Music Television message board under my membership name Myuuzik under the page Country International where they feature various country music acts from all over the world. I have received many personal message how much they appreciated this Lee Mulhern feature on the page.

Jonathan Fagerlund, the Swedish former member of Streetwize is enjoying considerable success in his home country Sweden and has announced the launching of his first official single "Angeline" on June 23, 2007 on majour Swedish radio stations.
"Angeline" is one of the songs widely made available on MySpace Jonathan sites. These sites also include samples of other Jonathan Fagerlund renditions like "Playing Me", "My Revolution" and Damn Lonely Night" on the page

Meanwhile Donal Skehan, an original Streetwize member from Ireland is enjoying great popularity through his appearances on Bubble TV, most specifically on Glenda's Showbiz Gossip daily show. Donal is also a producer at the Creative Sounds / Pro Audio Images, a commercial production house.

Mark Allen, an American previous member of Streetwize has joined Josh Starkel and Mikey Azvestas to form "Tandem Arts". Mark is the lead vocals of the band and plays keyboards and guitar. Josh is on lead guitar and does backup vocals whereas Mikey is the drummer. Streetwize (+Brian Stephens) in
St. Patrick's Day celebrations
For this year's St. Patrick celebrations on March 17, 2007, Belfast City Council organised a spectacular carnival procession and free concert on Custom House Square, featuring, amongst others, Streetwize.
There was also a surprise invitee who joined the band called Brian Stephens. The 21 year old American is born in Ohio (on October 8, 1986). It's not clear if he will be a permanent part of the band.
This is different from the 5th member in the Childline event in Dublin that was Allan Cutler.

The concert that started at 1pm, featured traditional Irish and Ulster-Scots
performers, including folk group Blackthorn and the South City Highland Dancers,
as well as international boy band Streetwize. The second half of the concert
featured Samantha Mumba.
Bringing the concert to a fitting finale was up-and-coming Scottish singer/songwriter Sandi Thom (hit singles such as "I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair)", "What If I'm Right?" and "Lonely Girl", and her debut album "Smile… It Confuses People". There was a capacity crowd of more than 5,000.

Streetwize in the 10th Annual Cheerios Childline Charity Event
Steetwize took part in a prominent charity event in Dublin, the Cheerios Childline charity concert,
that was held on The Point Theatre on January 28th, 2007 and attended by thousands of young
Irish music fans.
A host of the biggest stars in pop descended on the venue for the tenth annual event of the Cheerios Childline Concert. Former Westlife star Brian McFadden teamed up with ex-Boyzone member Stephen Gately hosting the show. Artists who performed on the night were Westlife,
X-Factor winner Shayne Ward, Stephen Gately, McFly, Sugarbabes, Matt Willis, Greg Ryan,
Lady Nada, Lil Chris, G4, and Streetwize.
The event was a huge success and
raised €280,000 for Childline. A very special thank you to all
the artists who gave of their services free on the night. A special thank you also to sponsors
Cheerios. The show was televised on RTE2 on Sunday February 18th, 2007
